I have learnt how children develop psychologically how their minds work from the time they are born to when they become teenagers how mental and emotional development is key to the development of children. Learning how culture and social relationships plays an important role in child development. It was also interesting to note social economic factors impact on the psychology of children. Studying childhood psychology, I have been able to see how dynamic the field of child psychology is. Most importantly I have learned that labels describe patterns of behavior and to separate the child from the behavior (Mash &amp; Wolfe, 2016).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The course concepts that have impacted me the most was the decision making process, another concept that impacted me was assessing children for disorders and how they are diagnosed and the treatment available for psychological disorders. These concepts have helped me in the in-depth understanding of childhood psychology and the impact this disorders have on children and their development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I do not want to pursue a career in child psychology but rather I would like to obtain a masters in social work. As a social worker child psychology will be integral to my work as I try to improve the lives of people and their families including children. As social worker I work with people of all ages, child psychology will come in handy when handling vulnerable children especially when monitoring and assessing their needs and when counselling them (careers in psychology, n.d.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>References.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mash, E, J., Wolfe, D, A.
