These policies however are faced with two sides, those who propose and those opposing, and this paper aims to analyze each side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reasons Cited by Proponents<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The major reason is to increase the number of people vaccinated. The proposed policies will increase the rate of vaccination by more than 20 percent protecting almost 84 million employees (The White House, 2021).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The second reason is in accelerating the regrowth of the economy. The pandemic greatly affected the financial state of the country seeing many businesses shutting down or barely making ends meet. Vaccination of workers will ensure that workers can work effectively and any incidents of hospitalization and the costs are prevented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reasons Cited by Opponents<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Employers may be wary of these policies majorly because of the costs they might incur. This is from the weekly testing that should be carried out. The policies may also be seen to rob the people of their free will to decide for themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I side with the proponents of these policies. This is because going to work is necessary for a majority of people and being able to make it safe for all these people is crucial.
