Opioid misappropriation and dependency primarily impacted medical care and monetary expenses associated with opioid abuse and linked overdoses, as well as the increasing occurrence of infants experiencing discontinuation symptoms as a result of opioid usage and misapplication throughout gestation (Brown, 2018). In addition, the rise in infusion opioid usages has aided the transmission of infectious illnesses such as HIV/ Aids. Moreover, not only are medical and financial aspects impacted, but also the more individualized aspects encountered by those impacted by the opioid, such as dying, familial despair, and complexities.
