Introduction
Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni (1475-1564) was mainly an Italian painter, poet, sculptor, and most importantly, a painter. Michelangelo’s wide variety of work demonstrates a blend in consideration to physical realism, psychological insight, and intensity that has never been seen before. Besides, Michelangelo’s contemporaries play a major role in recognizing his extraordinary talent. As a result, Michelangelo got more commission from powerful and wealthy people during his time, including popes. Although Michelangelo the Great was born to humble, he died a legend.
Being primarily a sculptor, Michelangelo successfully achieved a feat, particularly with the Sistine Chapel.
