Rumpelstiltskin is a German folk tale in which a miller tells the king that his daughter can make gold out of straw. The story is based on the poor miller his daughter, the king and an imp
Rumpelstiltskin is a famous folklore and I believe the best way to present it is in its original form, I would present the imp as small grey ugly creature with big yellow eyes and big sharp ears. When he the imp appears in the room where the girl is there would be a grey whirl wind to show his evil side followed by little gold stars to show that he has powers to change the straw into gold. The miller’s daughter would be young and beautiful with long blonde hair and beautiful shaped face and sad eyes to depict the horror she is going through. The daughter would have tattered clothes soft singing voice because I envision her singing her predicament before the imp appears. When later she becomes queen she would be depicted in expensive clothing and crown on her head. The miller would be an older man with tattered clothes to imply his poverty and lack of importance in society. When the daughter becomes queen his fortunes would change and have good clothing. The king would be a younger good looking man living in a palace with a lot of wealth.
