My past encounter as a psychiatric, psychological wellbeing caregiver professional was difficult but rewarding. My experience in mental medical clinical was unlike any other general practice I had previously. In a psychological health medical set – up, I am not only handling patients’ psychological disorders, but I am also handling their health issues, such as prolonged renal diabetes, Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and so on, which is very challenging. It was extremely difficult psychologically and psychosocially, to the point where I thought I required more mentoring. However, I discovered that it is critical to plan for unexpected occurrences from my encounter. I also realized the importance of inspecting my patients and guaranteeing that they are doing well by conducting a rapid head-to-toe evaluation at the start of my shift. Furthermore, I discovered that the patient’s psychological medical disorder significantly impacted their existing health concerns (Brennan, 2021).
I decided to operate with individuals with mental illnesses because I have always wished to assist them in surmounting their difficulties and living a standard life. For most of the period, I’ve seen psychologically challenged people ignored by medical care practitioners, which was not recommendable (Thornicroft, Kassam & Rose, 2007). As a consequence, my primary objective has been to provide assistance to such a population.
My big worry is that educators of undergraduate student caregivers will find it difficult to express the complexities of psychological medical nursing. Because this was the most difficult aspect of my training, the primary objective should be to inspire learners to understand both the art of psychological medical nursing and the understanding of providing care for persons with psychological concerns.
My individual and expert primary objective for the clinical course and population is to understand the art of psychological medical nursing as well as the insight of caring for people with mental illnesses.
