Write a 2-3 page, APA format paper:

1. Access the CDC Web site (http://www.cdc.gov) for COVID-19 and watch your local news station(s).
2. Answer the following prompts in a 2-3 page APA format paper:

•  
  • Identify the number of cases presently reported in your state (Texas). (Break it down into categories/groups i.e., elderly, infants, etc. if the information is available).  Include numbers for your county( Bexar) and any other major “hot spots.”  Are some areas worse than others?  If so then explain.
  • Are there special travelers’ warnings in certain countries at this time?  What countries are restricting travel?
  • What are some of the CDC’s current concerns regarding COVID-19? 
  • Discuss vaccines: How many vaccines are currently on the market in the U.S.? Have there been any issues with the vaccines? How are vaccines being currently distributed (e.g., to whom, where)? What are the vaccination rates in your county vs. your state vs. the country? How many people (number and/or percentage) have to be vaccinated to reach herd immunity? 
  • Be sure to list your references including the TV station you watched.

Paper Guidelines:

• The paper must be 2-3 type-written pages long using double spacing.
• Include a title page, introduction, conclusion, and a reference page.
• The reference page must have at least 2 references in APA format and the resources must be from scholarly sources such as your textbook, journal articles, etc.
